FIRST IMPRESSIONS WITH DANA CARVEY ANNIVERSARY!

Two years ago today my episode of First Impression with Dana Carvey on USA aired. It seems like just yesterday I lost the $10,000 prize to fellow contestant Jason Kaye.

In honor of the anniversary of the show, here are some throwback clips and articles from our episode!

This is the film's second LA screening, the first being last November at the LA Comedy Fest where it took home the Audience Choice Award!

Binging – consuming a series all at once – has become the cultural norm and Binged is a comedic short about all of the distractions and diversions that keep us from achieving small screen nirvana. Carlie and Karan play Kate and Bill, respectively, a couple who could not be worse at communicating with each other.

Congratulations to the rest of the cast & crew on BINGED and it's successes!

Carlie Craig debuts original comedy songs with Will Jay!

Carlie performs at Rockwell Table & Stage!

Have Several Seats, an original musical comedy show, from writing duo Carlie Craig and Will Jay, debuted last week at LA's Rockwell Table & Stage.

Performing alongside writing partner Will Jay on keys and a full band, Carlie belted out original tunes about her first five years in LA, many of which have never been performed for an audience before. The songs were strung together by different stories - some fact, some fiction - about the every-actress journey in Los Angeles.

Crowd favorites included "Titty Girl", a song about facing the dilemma of taking your top off for a low-budget student film and "Musical Theatre Bitch (Of Your Dreams)", which outlines all the different marks you need to hit to trick people into thinking you have formal musical theatre training. "Self-Tape Lament" walked the audience through the panic attack that inevitably takes place when any actor gets a self-tape audition. Carlie also sang an "Ariana Grande Love Song" in which she professes her love and appreciation for pop star Ariana Grande, who she has impersonated online and on MADtv.

Keep an eye out for more dates for Have Several Seats in the near future! In the meantime check out highlights from the show below or individual songs HERE!

Carlie Craig Featured on Todrick Hall's Visual Album FORBIDDEN

Music Artist and Broadway Star Todrick Hall's new album Forbidden has debuted #1 on the iTunes pop charts!

The 30-track album, along with his accompanying film of the same name, tackles race & gender equality in the fictional town of Nacirema Falls. The visual album was released exclusively on Todrick's YouTube channel! Read his in-depth interview with Billboard HERE!

Carlie got her start in Los Angeles assisting Todrick Hall and went on to star on his MTV show, tour with him internationally and work as a vocalist on his last visual album Straight Outta Oz. On Forbidden however, Carlie serves as a soloist, lending her voice to the show tune track Silver Spoon.

Carlie also makes a cameo in the film, around the 23 minute mark, as a needy neighbor asking Todrick's character for a hefty financial loan... and keeping all her cookies to herself.

Sponsored by MacDuggal! the designers of this beautiful (and extra) gown

Grammy weekend, who? Spent Friday night competing in a kickass improv show at Nerdmelt Showroom called NOMINEES! An acting competition show, Nominees features six actors who compete through a variety of acting challenges to fight it out for the crown of "Best Actor" or "Best Actress"! It was also a great excuse to wear a beautiful gown by MacDuggal, who sponsored the event. Challenges included but were not limited to: performing a Progressive Commercial Copy as a Gangster Film, improvising an entire scene in response to sides from Call Me By Your Name and turning up the drama with material from This is Us. Read more about the show HERE!

Other competitors in the show were Vanessa Chester, Meryl Hathaway, Elliott Morgan, Brandon Broady and Andrew Delman. They are all so talented. Judged by Nickelodeon's Kel Mitchell, Sarah Ramos and Allan McLeod, the show was a straight up riot. Although I did not win the competition, I was runner-up to winner Vanessa Chester!

Attending the Premiere of SEX TIPS VEGAS! with Chester Lockhart

Last week, I was beaming with pride as I sat in the audience of SEX TIPS FOR A STRAIGHT WOMAN FROM A GAY MAN at the Paris Hotel in Vegas! The reason for my excitement and sheer joy? The all-new cast of two performers includes my long-time friend and "honorary sibling" Chester Lockhart.

Chester and I worked together as assistants to Todrick Hall for about three years, where we created endless memories including but not limited to, starring together in Todrick's MTV show, managing two international tours, producing videos, vlogs, the list goes on. Chester is not only an incredible artist (you can check out his music HERE), but an even better comedian and an even better best friend. I simply love him and all of his talent.

Chester appears alongside Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay in the show, which runs now through May 6th! You can get tickets HERE.

See photos below of Josh Server and I at the premiere and make sure to check out this hilarious show if you are in Las Vegas and looking for a night of awesome. Love you, Chester!

Carlie stars as Chicken Little in XFINITY INTERNET Campaign: AIRING NOW!

Here ye! Here ye! Chicken Little in da house. I felt so lucky to close out 2017 shooting the latest campaign for XFINITY Internet with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Sitting at a "habitual liars anonymous" meeting, The Evil Queen, The Big Bad Wolf, The Boy who cried Wolf, Pinocchio, Greg The AT&T Guy and Chicken Little sit and share stories of their biggest and baddest lies. Take a look at the first commercial below and keep an eye out for even more fairy tale mischief hitting the airwaves soon! :)

A special shout out to our amazing director Jeff Goodby, my agents at SBV and everyone at Tinsley Studio and ProTransfers who worked so hard on my prosthetic human/bird beak! The costumes and makeup work were nothing short of extraordinary! I'm a lucky little chicken... I mean, Chicken Little.

So grateful to have been a guest on my good friend Daniel Franzese's brand spankin' new podcast Butch & The Bear! Danny and I met while I was working with Todrick Hall and shortly thereafter discovered we are from the same hometown of Coral Springs, Florida! You may know him as Damien from Mean Girls, Founder of Winston Box (an incredible fashion line for plus size men!), or just an all around hilarious person and entertainer :) I was super excited to meet AB Cassidy, as well and chat with her about stand-up comedy!

We discuss how I got into doing impressions, working with Todrick and my viral video which led to MADtv!

Make sure to follow these two on all social media @whatsupdanny and @funnylezbo and check out the episode HERE! Subscribe to @butchandthebear on iTunes and follow!
