PARENTS OF UPPER MONTCLAIR!
I can’t say I ever predicted mentorship to young professional performers would be a part of my career path, but I now consider it to be the true anchor and guiding force to all of my creative pursuits - from writing to performing to songwriting & beyond.
After spending a decade in Hollywood, California pursuing a television career as an actress & producer, from starring on the MADtv reboot, in national commercials and guest starring on various network television programs (NBC’s Will & Grace, Kevin Hart’s The Donors), I began to crave a more depthful life and career, so I took a leap of faith and returned to the East Coast... I am a South Florida Native and missed my theatre people!
As fate would have it, a performing arts school in Millburn asked if I’d build out their comedy department and I instantly fell in love with the charm and people of New Jersey! Since establishing the program in 2023, I have seen profound personal and professional results in my dedicated students (ages 7-16) and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be taking this mission to the next level independently.
With a nurturing approach and emphasis on a safe environment where mistakes (and weirdness!) are encouraged, my passion for building camraderie amongst like-minded creative children as they find their authentic voice has become my true calling. And after all, it is rumored New Jersey is the New Hollywood... so I do believe I am exactly where I am meant to be.
I look forward to connecting with you to discuss your child’s goals - whether they are looking to develop professional comedy skills or just want something fun to do after school and on weekends with funny kids like themselves!
